News & Events — Day of the Dead

In an effort to integrate my love of knitting with my love of folk art, I created these stuffed Day of the Dead skulls!  Here are some process pictures showing the decision-making and brainstorming I did to decorate them.  I played around with crochet, knitting, sequins, fake flowers, repurposed jewelry and more before settling on the final designs.
