This intricate Virgin of Guadalupe oval hoop art sparkles with glittery beads, metallic embroidery thread, and antique real-silver thread. She is wearing a starry cloak outlined in glittery turquoise, an orange beaded dress with a heart milagro charm in its center, and a golden embroidered crown. She is standing on a silver crescent moon that I embroidered using 80-year-old antique real-silver metallic thread, and she is held aloft by a small angel in a purple dress with blue wings. I drew the design myself, and I hand-embroidered and beaded it on off-white muslin. The design took considerable time to complete. Size: App 5 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" wide oval hoop. This wooden-framed hoop will make a compelling, funky, and fun wall hanging (you can push a nail through the felt on the back or attach a painting hanger) or can be propped up on a stand. The back is covered in turquoise Eco-felt, so none of the knots and reverse stitchwork show. NOTE: The hoop pictured in the listing is not the exact one that you will receive.
